The Coton De Tulear is a toy companion dog which originates from Madagascar .The Cotons are lively intelligent dogs with a long white coat which resembles cotton to the touch and look. They are good for people who suffer allergies as they do not have dander or doggy odour. They do not shed much coat but do need daily grooming. They need moderate exercise and love dashing around the garden as much as they love their walks.
The Coton is the most endearing dog I have ever owned. They only have to look at you with their big dark eyes and they would get away with anything.The Coton is a great companion which is an intelligent, affectionate best friend who will love you for a lifetime.
CotonCeilidh Mr Bojangles of Wyldewyche our Sire is such a lovely natured dog and is great with children and older people (he regularly visits a residential home for the elderly, and is always eagerly awaited by staff and residents alike).
He is first and foremost our pet but we have been showing him with some great success, gaining Best Dog in Breed at Crufts 2008, judged by Eli De Luca a breed specialist from Italy, and best of breed at UK Toy Dog Championship show 2008 judged by Sylvie Desserne a breed specialist from France. CotonCeilidh Mr Bojangles of Wyldewyche has an excellent pedigree. Our Dams Carpette and Coral Blanc are French imports also with excellent pedigrees of championship lines.
Our new addition Wyldewyche Geonelli gained best puppy at Darlington Championship Show on his debut.
The Coton is a playful cheeky and affectionate little dog which is very intelligent and once you have one you are hooked for life. The Coton has been called the anti stress dog and I would agree with that (There is nothing nicer than sitting on the sofa surrounded by Cotons and unwinding).
All of our Dogs Live with us in our home and are part of the family.
